That night I went to bed and woke up about 3am so very sick, I was up till about 11:30am. I felt so bad that I couldn't go with to church with my family, but I knew I needed rest. Every time I attempted to drink anything, up it came. I have not been this weak in a very long time. Later that day I spiked a fever and afraid to take anything because I couldn't even keep down water. My wonderful hubby brought me home Ginger Ale and finally I kept it down. After a few more hours I started with Tylenol and the aching started going away. I didn't see my kids all day till about 4pm, but I could hardly walk and I almost past out in the shower. I can't remember the last time I was this sick. My wonderful mother even came and spent the day with me to help out with the kids and cook my hubby a good meal. Thank you mom so much!
The last few days I have started to feel better, but I am truly looking forward to being 100% again. I know God allowed me a few days of quiet time and time by myself to allow time with Him. My time in prayer and time in His Word was amazing. Sick or not...it was worth it.
"Examine me, O Lord, and prove me: try my reins and my heart." Psalm 26:2
"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith: prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"

When was the last time you examined yourself?
